Payment Options

Brantford Power offers a variety of convenient ways for you to make sure your payment is up to date. You can sign up for pre-authorized payments or pay bills as you receive them.

Automatic Pre-Authorized Payment Plan:

Paid in full – The total amount due on your electricity bill will automatically be withdrawn from your financial institution account on the due date specified on your bill. Your electricity bill will be sent to you as usual.

To cancel your pre-authorized payment, complete this form and return to Brantford Power by email, fax, mail or in person. Please allow 30 days for Brantford Power to cancel your pre-authorized payment plan.

Credit Card Payments: 

Credit card payments are not accepted on business accounts.

We accept all forms of payment other than credit cards (businesses only) from Monday to Friday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (excluding holidays) at:

Bank or Financial Institution:

Payments can be made online through your bank’s website. If paying at an automated bank machine tear off the top portion of your bill and include it with your payment. Please be aware it can take up to 10 days for Brantford Power to receive this type of payment.

Late Payments:

Your payment is due 16 days from the statement date on your bill. If the payment is late, a charge of 1.5% per month will be added to the balance. Brantford Power allows four extra days after the due date before applying late-payment charges.  Keep in mind payments made online through a bank or trust company or by phone can take up to five days to process.
